Michael McTighe - Born 1959

Michael McTighe, 3. ingenuity founder and owner, is a Registered Investment Adviser. He received a BA in Economics and Computer Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

During college, Michael worked full time, entirely paid for his education, and started investing his savings in publicly traded stocks on the New York Stock Exchange.

After college, Michael worked in the technology industry for several software companies, most recently with Oracle Software inc. In 2003, Michael passed the General Securities Registered Representative - Series 7 exam, the Uniform Combined State Law - Series 66 exam, the State of California Department of Insurance - Life Agent exam and the State of California Department of Insurance - Variable Contracts exam.

Before creating 3. ingenuity, Michael worked for American Express Financial Advisors, Pinnacle Asset Management, and The Kane Group in the Bay Area. After moving to Roseville, Michael decided to capture the best aspects of these firms, especially a fee based business that removes any potential conflict of interest regarding investment choices.
